WLUSU Presidential Platform
I believe WLUSU should be “Providing Opportunities to Make a Difference”. That difference is to make sure all undergraduate students of Wilfrid Laurier University feel welcome and are involve in university life outside the academic realms. The opportunities are endless, as long as we provide the right service to cater to the needs of our student body as a group and even more as individuals.
Value-Approach
• Attempt to create more value for the money that our shareholders invest in, and to ensure WLUSU exceed expectations with our customers.
• If elected, I will attempt to reorganize the WLUSU Student Administration departments to be more efficient;
o Specifically the Waterloo Student Administration Department.
• If elected, I will ensure each committee/club is fulfilling its mandate and exceed expectations;
o Ensuring each under-used committee is evaluated has their mandate adjusted.
• If elected, I will secure new food and retail operations in Brantford Campus to cater to Brantford Students;
o Such as a Dining Hall, Convenience Store and Pita Shack.

Appreciation
• Ensuring all our staff are recognized for their services and are fully appreciated; paid or not.
• If elected, all executive volunteers and volunteers who work on late-shifts or more than 6 hours a week will get corporate discount cards.

Strategic Endeavours
• Ensuring that the next Strategic Planning Report is reasonable and provides WLUSU with clear short-term goals.
• If elected, I will make sure that all the information collected from the Market Research will be used in writing up the Strategic Planning Report.
• If elected, I will make sure that responsible growth is built into the Strategic Planning Report.

Reorganization
• Attempt to reorganization the WLUSU structure to better fulfill our Ends Policy mandate.
• If elected, I will attempt to reduce the number of VP positions in the Waterloo Student Administration department and replace them with more AVP positions.
• If elected, I will upgrade the AVP Campus Club and Faculty Association position in Waterloo into a VP position.
• If elected, I will attempt to hire a full-time staff as a Researcher for the Students’ Union.
• If elected, I will provide more autonomy to Brantford within a reasonable framework.

Prudent Management
• Ensuring your money is well spent, and WLUSU is accountable to all shareholders.
• If elected, I will attempt to create a multi-year budget for the Student Union;
