As the official voice of all undergraduate students, the Wilfrid Laurier University Students’ Union strives to effectively represent the needs of undergraduate students both internally and externally.

Internally, WLUSU is involved in a variety of areas on campus and works hard to ensure that the needs of students are heard at all levels of the university administration. In the past WLUSU has lobbied the university on issues related to enrollment, academic quality, and study space.

Externally, WLUSU is committed to giving students a strong voice municipally, provincially and federally. WLUSU is in regular contact with the City of Waterloo and participates in Town and Gown. WLUSU is a founding member of the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance, which is our provincial lobby group. Federally, WLUSU has joined the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations. Students are encouraged to get involved politically through the University Affairs office.
