One of the biggest concerns regarding the Student Food Bank is whether or not the service actually operates anonymously. Here are the ways we ensure the identities of our clients are protected:
Requests are only processed online, never in person.
Deliveries are made to specified lockers on campus. The client is free to pick up their delivery at their own convenience, or when campus is less populated if this is preferred.
No names are required on the request form, only a Student Number and Email Address so that the Executive team can contact clients with the location of their food hamper.
We do not have access to any tracking information related to your Student Number.
Your WLU Email can be used so that no names are revealed if this is of primary concern.
